Ben L. Bechdol

Ben L. Bechdol, 77, of Twelve Mile passed away at 2:05 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Millers Merry Manor.

Born on March 28, 1943 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Harry and Retha (Miller) Bechdol.

He was a 1961 Logansport High School graduate.

On January 25, 1974 he married Sally Stuber, she survives.

He retired from Small Parts in 2007.  Ben was a member of Metea Baptist Church; enjoyed bird watching, especially the downy woodpeckers and cardinals, and reading John Patterson novels.

Survivors include his wife, Sally Bechdol of Twelve Mile, brothers, Larry Bechdol of Chicago; James Bechdol of Lafayette and sister, Letha Gasho (Ernie) of Logansport; 2 nephews, 1 niece; 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.  He is also survived by his 3 canine companions: Journey, Molly and his best buddy, Gus.

He was preceded in death by son, Jeffery A. Bechdol.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Metea Baptist Church, 7391 N. State Road 25, Lucerne, IN. 46950
