Services for Ada Mae Harris Gamboe, 97, of Culver, formerly of Kewanna, will be held Friday, July 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.
She died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 in Millerchr(39)s Merry Manor at Culver.
Born September 21, 1909 in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William and Ida (Berryman) Adams.
She was a member of Kewanna Church of Christ, and a Lifelong Member of the Rebekahchr(39)s. Ada was also an avid reader.
Surviving are 1 daughter, Carole Hamman (Ronald) of Kewanna, Daughter-in-law, Jo Harris, South Bend, 4 Grandchildren, Terri Lynch, Scott Hamman, Ron and Chris Harris, 11 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Dee Harris on July 15, 1962, 1 son, William Harris, 1 grandson, Michael Hamman, 2 brothers, Orville Aldridge and Arnold Adams, 1 sister, Retha Berryman.
Rev. Steve McPeek will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Kewanna, Indiana.
Friends may call Friday from 12:00 Noon until the time of services at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel.
